Abstract The objective of this study was to analyse the life cycle coconut oil industry and process improvement alternatives. analysis (LCA) method are based on scope gate gate. This shows that input for production consists copra as main raw material several supporting materials energy. outputs oil, pulp pellets, waste (liquid, solid, gas). total potential GHG emissions, acidification, eutrophication per-kg-coconut-oil-products 2.9271 kg-CO 2 eq, 0.0178 kg-SO -eq, 0.0145 kg-PO 4 - 3- eq. highest emissions produced from Crude Coconut Oil Plant sub-system 1.2045 eq per-kg-coconut-oil. acidification Boiler Transportation with value 0.0094 -eq 0.0084 per-kg-coconut-oil, respectively. a 0.0026 0.0119 kg PO pe- kg-coconut-oil, Optimization energy usage can be done by optimizing fuel, water, electricity in each production.
